When you have a location that has multiple spots in the one place, you can get so much variety in a short space of time! Especially when kids are involved who don’t want to sit still for too long (which is totally fair and totally NORMAL). This is just one of the spots we used for this mini session with the Stanley’s and I’m obsessed!
If you’re avoiding booking the shoot because you’re worried your kids won’t sit still, or won’t ‘behave’, I got you. My sessions are led by the kids, we can incorporate playing games, singing their favourite songs, have them tell me as many stories as they want and I’ll even happily make a goose out of myself for the shot if I have to!
I’ve been photographing Hailey May and her family for a few years now, right from the start when Hailey was pregnant with James, through to their wedding and now as a family of 4. I’m so grateful for my families who keep inviting me back to document their lives as they grow.
