The Repose, Dubbo

Elopements aren’t anything new, but over the last 2 years since the beginning of the pandemic, they are becoming more and more common. Couples have either chose to elope because either they weren’t legally allowed to have larger weddings, or they realised that having a big wedding wasn’t actually something that was important to them. Lots of couples I’ve spoken to decided to listen to their heart and plan a special day that was more about them and what they wanted, versus what someone else wanted for them. Many couples are choosing to either elope outdoors at some epic location, and others have instead hired bnb’s to host their small wedding and a handful of guests.

That’s why I’ve decided to showcase 5 of the best Airbnb‘s in Dubbo and the Central West that I believe would be PERFECT to host your elopement or small wedding.

The Repose is artisan design, boutique accomodation situated in the heart of the Central West, in Dubbo. The Repose is a heritage workers cottage built c. 1904 which has been restored with care by local owners. The cottage centres around an utterly private, gorgeous courtyard, built by hand to reflect our European influences. The sourced French timber windows have been designed to welcome light & breeze, creating a seamless connection between old & new.

The light, bright colour palette and array of windows around the property, paired with the stunning styling means it’s perfect for photographs. Utilise the courtyard area for your ceremony, enjoy the backyard for drinks and nibbles, wander around the house and neighbouring streets for photographs and spend your first night together as a newly married couple in this stunning home away from home.
