I'm your girl!
I started photography back in 2013, just a random Facebook page and a love for capturing families. I had no idea you could actually do weddings for a living - until I flicked through a magazine and saw a shot that made me think, “Wait… people get paid to do this?”
I hustled for free shoots, built a little portfolio, and then got a message asking if I did wedding photography. I didn’t… but I said yes anyway. My first wedding was in 2016 for $500, and after that I learned the ropes working alongside someone who actually knew what they were doing.
Fast forward to 2025: I’ve shot 150+ weddings, been married myself (2018, so I know exactly how it feels on the other side), and worked with some of the best in the industry. Amy Allen Creative Co isn’t just a job - it’s my passion, my purpose, and honestly, it fills me with so much joy. I'm based in Adelaide in South Australia, but I travel all over the country & beyond!
This is something I hear ALL the time, but it's something I know how to tackle. We will get to know each other really well in the lead up to the day so you feel as comfortable as possible, which will make you comfy in front of the camera. I will also lean into the vibe you have with your partner, not forcing you into anything that doesn't feel like you. So I got you! Another thing that can help is to book an engagement session, this helps you more realistically imagine what it's going to be like on the day.
Loads!! From help you put together the perfect timeline that works and flows, vendor recommendations and overall wedding day advice, to calming nervous energy, reassurance and being a soundboard for you in what can sometimes be in overwhelming process. As well as being your photographer, my job is to help make the whole journey easy and stress-free.
You'll receive roughly between 500-1000 photos, depending on how many hours we shoot and how jam-packed your wedding day is. Short answer - there is no limit!
This is your wedding and if you are uncomfortable with your photos being shared on my social media platforms, I will 100% respect that.
Yep! Once your deposit is paid, you can pay off the balance however you like in the lead up to the due date, 2 weeks before your wedding. Or we can create a payment plan to suit you and your needs. Plus I even accept credit cards!
Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit is non refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other booking for your wedding date. If you need to change the date of your wedding, you can do so once with no additional fees. More than once will incur another deposit fee to secure the new date.
