Dubbo is such a beautiful place to get married, and we are so lucky to have some stunning wedding venues to choose from. I know it can be overwhelming trying to decide on all the details for your wedding, and often the venue is one of the first things to be booked. So I wanted to compile some of the best venues in Dubbo to help make that job a little bit easier!

1. OUTBACK CELLAR, DUBBO
Outback Cellar is a stunning country venue located just ten minutes from the centre of Dubbo and
fifteen minutes drive to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo. Located at ‘Boora’ in the Eschol area, this venue is on 125 acres of prestige farming land off the Macquarie River. It’s location makes for the perfect backdrop for wedding portraits and gives you and your guests a whole lot of space to party and celebrate.
Outback Cellar is the perfect venue if you’re looking for more of a blank canvas. Everything from catering to ceremony and reception decor can be brought in to bring your wedding vision to life. It also includes two self-contained individual country style guesthouses to host you and/or some of your guests and provides a gorgeous place to get ready.

2. LAZY RIVER ESTATE, DUBBO
Now this is one of my favourite wedding venues in Dubbo! Lazy River Estate is a modern rammed earth venue, complete with floor to ceiling windows to showcase a fabulous vine-covered terrace overlooking a beautifully manicured estate that rolls across vineyards. With ceremony views overlooking the Macquarie River, it’s the perfect spot to say I do; have your ceremony in the purpose-built outdoor space on the banks of the river and walk up to the terrace for pre-dinner drinks!
Lazy River also offers onside accomodation at the Vineyard Villa, featuring 2 loft bedrooms, a luxurious upstairs bathroom plus open-plan living downstairs, perfect for on the day wedding preparations and space to stay or celebrate with family the day after the wedding.

3. RHINO LODGE, DUBBO
Rhino Lodge is a stunning wedding venue that features a luscious garden ceremony area and a spacious covered terrace. At night this space is covered in fairy lights which is perfect for summer weddings where you’re going to wanna hang out outside. The industrial style hall is the perfect canvas for your wedding reception, with a stunning stone wall, bulb lighting and exposed timber beams. Large, adorning windows showcase the beautiful garden, offering you an enchanting space for any wedding ceremony. The options really are endless for what you can do here, no matter how big or small you’re thinking!
Rhino Lodge also offers a boutique glamping experience; it’s the perfect place to breathe in the air and soak up your surroundings. Relax on the outdoor patio and enjoy the peaceful bush surrounds and at night, stargaze at the uninterrupted skies, free from light pollution. 4. TOONGI HALL, DUBBO
If you’re looking for a blank canvas, out of town venue with a cute old hall and stunning country views, look no further than Toongi Hall. Located just 20 minutes from the centre of Dubbo, this 1930’s hall is perfect for an outdoor wedding under the stars.
5. THE REPOSE, DUBBO
Now this one’s a little bit different. The Repose is a luxury boutique Airbnb located in the heart of Dubbo and is the perfect backdrop for a small wedding or elopement. Not everyone wants a big, lavish wedding, so if your plan is to host a more intimate affair with European vibes, look no further than the Repose.
The Repose is artisan designed, filled with light and attention to details. The heritage workers cottage built c. 1904 has been personally restored with care by the owners and centres around an utterly private, gorgeous courtyard, built by hand to reflect European influences. The sourced French timber windows have been designed to welcome light & breeze, creating a seamless connection between old & new and is perfect for wedding photos! I seriously can’t say enough about this stunning space.
